A crop circle is wheat barleey hay or other flattened fields of a design. The are not always circular in shape . Hoaxers try to claim authorship in places like England. In the 20th century there was over 10000 crop circles reported.
Some other believed it to be saucer nests. I don't know what kind of meaning you can get from this or the explanation of the phenominiom it must have something to do with the stars and winds but I don't count that as factual
In 1686 there was fairy circles reported in Scotland. Could be caused by air circles in the sky Robert Plot a chemist and the firs t professor at the Oxford University thought to believe this but would like to know some of his knowledge on the fairys.
